Darleen discovered Bowenwork in 2004 when she took a good friend to a Naturopath for a Bowen treatment for severe sciatica. She watched her friend limp in and an hour later walk out with a greatly improved gait. Darleen was just about to enroll in Massage School and after seeing the transformation in her friend’s ability to walk, she had to investigate Bowenwork. She was able to watch her friend’s follow up treatment and saw immediately that there was something remarkable about this “Bowenwork.” With so little effort to produce such dramatic effects, it was undeniably the path to follow.
After practicing Bowenwork for 10 years, Darleen felt becoming a certified Instructor seemed like the next step to fulfill her vision to expand Bowenwork. Through educating clients, their families and friends she showd them the possibility of starting a new career and following a passion in helping people through the healing modality of Bowenwork.
